Install for Houdini:

Open the GM-HoudiniLiveLink.zip file and navigate into the Houdini folder.

Copy HoudiniToAE folder and HoudiniToAE.json into your user Houdini user packages folder.

Houdini packages location in Windows:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\houdiniXX.X\packages\

To launch the plug-in, go to File > AE Live Link in the Houdini menu bar drop-down.

The plug-in is also installed as a shelf in Shelves > AE Live Link.

Install for After Effects:

Open the GM-HoudiniLiveLink.zip file and navigate into the After Effects folder.

OPTION 1: Install ZXP Package

Use Adobe Creative Cloud to install GEMHoudiniLiveLink.zxp

OPTION 2: Manual Install

Copy com.gem.houdinilivelink folder into your Adobe CEP extensions folder.

CEP extensions folder is located in 2 locations in Windows:

C:\Users\Guy\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions

To launch the plug-in, go to Window > Extensions > Houdini Live Link in the After Effects menu bar drop-down.
